Community service is unpaid work performed by a person or group of people for the benefit and betterment of their community without any form of compensation. Community service can be distinct from volunteering, since it is not always performed on a voluntary basis and may be compulsory.

Presided over by the chief Guest Mr Prashant, the programme began with the lighting of the lamp, followed by a detailed power point presentation about the true essence of social community service.
The logo was launched by the Chief Guest and the badges were given away to the members of the social community service members
