Governor's meet with ISC students
Our first batch of ISC students accompanied by the Vice Principal Ms Jozina D'souza, NCC co ordinator Ms Sahana Salimath and counsellor Ms Sushma Antony visited the Governor of Karnataka His Excellency Shri Tawaar Chand Gehlot, to understand the working of the State Government and the responsibilities of the Governor in Policy making and as a Chancellor of the University. It was an enriching learning experience to the students.
Staff Picnic
The staff picnic at Sacred Heart Girls' High School is a tradition it is a very important annual ritual that is well organized with planned activities. This helps the teachers to interact, integrate and bond with each other in an informal setting which is an important part of a well rounded staff appreciation programme.
This year the staff visited Goa, from 8th of february to 11th of february, they basked in warm shores of the beaches of Goa with a fun filled experience that rejuvenated the body, mind and soul of the staff.

NLP Student Workshop
Exordia conducted an NLP workshop,"Mindset Makeover",designed for our 9th and 11th grade students.The session centered around practical experiences was not only highly informative but also vibrant and engaging,leaving a positive impact on the students through experiential learning.
Valedictory Ceremony
Valedictary for the ICSE and ISC batch of 2024 was held on January 20th 2024.

Martyrs Day
The NCC Cadet's and the students from Sacred Heart Girls' High School paid homage to Mahatma Gandhi, the father of our nation, at Mahatma Gandhi Park on MG Road in observance of Martyrs Day.
Republic Day 2024
Republic day at Sacred Heart Girls High School was celebrated on 25th January 2024
The programme started with a prayer and Bible reading followed by a speech and dance depicting the importance of republic day.
The students of class 9 performed a skit based on the importance of the fundamental rights and duties followed by a patriotic dance.The program concluded by a
very meaningful Republic day message given by our high school co ordinator Mrs Jiji D souza.

Christmas Day Celebration
Christmas 2023 was celebrated in Sacred Heart Girls' High School on 20th December 2023 based on the theme "Christ centered Christmas"
The special assembly started with the Bible reading, Prayer and prayer dance followed by the Introduction and santa dance by the primary children
The students of middle and high school presented a skit and carols depicting the theme
A flash mob based on carols by the students of class 9 was very creative.
The programme concluded with the entry of santa claus dancing to the christmas carols.

Outreach Program
Outreach at SHGHS is the activity of providing services to any population that might not otherwise have access to those services.
Providing groceries and cooking aids like cookers to the underpriviliged marked the outreach programme as a part of the christmas celebration

The inter house quiz competition was held on 18th Dec, the winners of the middle school quiz was Lucy's house and Tresa's house bagged the first place for the high school Quiz

SHGHS organised a career symposium in collaboration with the Alumni Association,providing students with valuable insights into various professional paths.

Primary Parents day was held on 24th November at 9:00 am.
It was presided over by Smt U. N Vasantha Kumari,Group Director(Retd)- spacecraft checkout group UK Rao satellite centre.
The musical The Girl who Stepped on the Loaf marked the ocassion,followed by a variety of dances performed by the kids.

World Soil Day
Soil day was observed at Sacred Heart Girls' High School on 5th December, Mr. David Kumar a soil conservationalist presided over and gave a thorough insight about soil erosion and the need for soil conservation.

World orange day was observed on 23rd November at Sacred Heart Girls' High School.
Students along with the NCC cadets formed a human chain with posters out side the school premises demonstrating the violence against women.

International Men's day was celebrated at SHGHS by honouring and acknowledging the male staff for their contribution towards the development of the school.

Children are our priceless treasures! We at Sacred Heart Girls' HighSchool celebrated this special day with a prayer service blessing our children with health and success .

Kannada Rajyotsava 2023
A special assembly was organised to celebrate the 68th Kannada Rajyotsava.The assembly began with the Lighting of the lamp by our Principal Sr. Margaret , Vice Principal Mrs Jozina D'souza, teachers and the office staff . Followed by a kannada speech about the rich heritage of karnataka, a patriotic dance in kannada concluded the assembly.

Fulminare the Annual Science and Math Exhibition was held on 31st October 2023.
The inaugural ceremony was presided over by Mrs. Bhanumathy Y. R. Retired Deputy Director , U.R. Rao Satellite Centre, Bangalore, in the presence of the Manager, Rev. Sr. Bridgette, Principal, Rev.Sr. Margaret, and SHPTA members.
An array of models and experiments were presented by the students in Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Computer science, Artificial intelligence, Robotics ,History and Geography.
The added attraction was the launching of the model of Chandrayaan 3.

Gandhi Jayanthi was commemorated with due respect to the Father of our Nation.
The theme of the assembly was truthfulness which was the main principle of Gandhiji.
The assembly began with the Bible reading followed by the Prayer and a short skit portraying a conversation between a grandfather and grand daughter emphasising on the principle of truthfulness was show cased.
Our principal Sr Margaret, Vice Principal Jozina D'souza and the members of the staff and student community offered floral tribute to Gandhiji an eternally relevant leader.

International Peace Day
International Day of Peace was celebrated at Sacred Heart Girls, High School by laying emphasis on the true meaning of peace, to educate people about the importance of peaceful co existence and conflict prevention.
The dress code for the children was white uniform and white attire for the staff to observe the essence of serenity in peaceful living.
Children made badges depicting the symbol of peace and the staff and children proudly adorned the badges .
The day was well spent with a strong aim to create a non violent and harmonious atmosphere.

SHGHS Community Service Felicitation
Community service is unpaid work performed by a person or group of people for the benefit and betterment of their community without any form of compensation. Community service can be distinct from volunteering, since it is not always performed on a voluntary basis and may be compulsory.
