Teachers’ Day Celebration
Date: 4th September & 9th September 2025 Venue: Rose Virginie Hall This year, Teachers’ Day was celebrated in two special segments at Sacred Heart Girls’ High School. Since 5th September was a holiday for Eid-Milad, the festivities began on 4th September with a solemn and graceful gathering in Rose Virginie Hall. The venue, beautifully draped by Mr. Sebastian, created the perfect ambience for the occasion. The programme commenced with a heartfelt prayer service led by the school’s office staff, invoking blessings on all the teachers from different institutions within the Good Shepherd Campus. Following this, Sr. Shanta Selvaraj, our Manager, delivered an inspiring address, reminding everyone of the noble vocation of teaching. The morning concluded with a fellowship lunch, where tributes were warmly paid to teachers and the staff enjoyed a time of bonding and gratitude. The celebration came alive once again on 9th September, when the SHPTA organised a vibrant programme at 1:00 pm in the same hall for the teaching and non-teaching staff. If the 4th was solemn, the 9th was spirited! Teachers dropped their usual poise and joined in games, laughter, and light-hearted fun. There was singing, dancing, and even moments of childlike mischief, as colleagues celebrated together with unrestrained joy. The highlight was the thoughtful presentation of gifts to all staff members by the SHPTA and Alumni Association—a gesture that was met with heartfelt applause. The dual celebration—solemn on the 4th and spirited on the 9th—made Teachers’ Day 2025 truly unforgettable, striking the perfect balance between reverence and revelry.
