Hindi Diwas

Hindi Day is celebrated in India to commemorate the date 14 September 1949 on which a compromise was reached during the drafting of the Constitution of India€”on the languages that were to have official status in the Republic of India
Hindi diwas was celebrated at Sacred Heart Girls' High School with a great sense of appreciation of the Hindi language .
A meaningful skit portraying the importance of Hindi in India was beautifully showcased by the students.
A dance performance emphasising on the beauty and importance of the hindi languague was very gracefully presented by the students followed by a very enlightening speech on the evolution of Hindi was delivered .
Hindi is one of our official languages and we are happy to set aside a day in the year to celebrate the language, its literature, music and so on.
