International day Against Drug Abuse and Tobacco Day, is celebrated on 26th June every year to raise awareness among students about the dangers of drug abuse and tobacco addiction and to promote a healthy lifestyle. This year Sacred Heart Girls' High School hosted an interactive session for the students with Rev. Albert PJ , founder and director of Abhayam, where they were educated on the topic of addiction and provided with pragmatic solutions to common problems which lead to addiction. Later, the students were addressed by The Sub- Inspector of Ashok Nagar Police Station, Ms. Ashwini GA , police constables, Mr. Chandrakant and Ms. Deepa Miti. They imparted the hazards of drug abuse and the danger it poses in society and the world at large.
