Staff Excursion - 2026

The staff members of Sacred Heart Girls’ High School enjoyed an unforgettable educational and recreational trip to Jaipur, the vibrant Pink City of India, from 23rd to 25th January 2026. Designed to blend learning, culture, and relaxation, the trip proved to be both enriching and exhilarating. The journey began early at Kempegowda International Airport, Bengaluru, where the staff flew to Jaipur. For some, this marked their first-ever flight, adding excitement and joy to the experience. Upon arrival, the group checked into The Fern Residency Hotel, followed by lunch and a brief rest before setting out to explore the city. The first day’s sightseeing featured the majestic Amer Fort, where a guided tour revealed its rich history, splendid architecture, and royal legacy. A picturesque view of Jal Mahal along the way added to the charm. The day ended with a relaxed dinner and warm fellowship at the hotel. Day two unfolded with a visit to the Albert Hall Museum, offering fascinating insights into Rajasthan’s royal past through artifacts, jewellery, and exhibits. This was followed by a lively shopping experience in Jaipur’s bustling local markets, filled with colours, handicrafts, souvenirs, and delightful street food. The highlight of the evening was a visit to Chokhi Dhani, a traditional Rajasthani cultural village. Folk dances, puppet shows, camel and horse rides, traditional arts, and a sumptuous Rajasthani dinner made the evening truly magical and unforgettable. On the final day, the group explored the regal City Palace, admired exquisite handicrafts by local women artisans, and visited the scientific marvel of Jantar Mantar. The iconic Hawa Mahal, with its stunning pink façade, left everyone mesmerized. A peaceful visit to the serene Birla Mandir provided a perfect spiritual pause before the return journey. The staff returned safely to Bengaluru late that night, carrying with them cherished memories, strengthened bonds, and a deeper appreciation of India’s rich cultural heritage. The Jaipur trip was truly a thrilling blend of discovery, delight, and togetherness, leaving the staff refreshed, inspired, and grateful for an experience to remember forever.
